BPO market seen touching $1.8b by ’13

Consultancy firm Gartner, on Monday, said that the business process outsoursing (BPO) market in the country is estimated to grow 19 per cent through 2013.
Stating that the domestic BPO services market grew by 7.3 per cent year-on-year in 2009 primarily due to the global economic uncertainity, Gartner estimates the same to grow into a $1.2 billion market by 2011 and grow to $1.8 billion by 2013.The Indian BPO domestic BPO market is one of the high growth services market that has become more organised, Gartner noted.
