Saber Corp founder Nitin Khanna invests $5mn in Isos Inc

Portland-based serial technology entrepreneur Nitin Khanna has invested $ 5 million in Isos, a startup which is developing productivity enhancement solutions.

Commenting on his investment, Khanna said Indian start-up ecosystem has got the attention of the world. “The best part about India is that tech entrepreneurship is abound in Tier-2 cities as well from where some very brilliant ideas and services have made successes as startups,” he said.

Isos, a software startup based in Mohali (Punjab) and California, develops productivity enhancement solutions like smart attendance, real-time tracking and monitoring, inventory management, cashless transactions, security management etc. The company was also awarded “Innovative Idea of the Year” by Tiecon Chandigarh 2017.

Isos software can be deployed in educational campuses, government hospitals and offices to keep track of the staff and material. The startup was founded by Anil Rana, Gourav Arora, Meenakshi Sharma and Paras Guglani in September 2016.

Khanna, the co-founder and CEO of Saber Corp which is one of the largest providers of state government solutions in the United States, is also the CEO of MergerTech, a mergers and acquisitions firm based out of Oregon, Portland. 

Khanna recently facilitated the sale of Simple, an Internet banking start-up based in Portland Spanish bank BBVA for over $115 million.
