JOIN US The police on Friday questioned Ola Cabs authorities and workers in connection with the molestation of a woman by an Ola driver on Begur Road, recently.
The victim had alleged that she called up the Ola Cabs helpline, but there was no relief. However, the Ola management told the police after receiving the complaint, they called up Ravikumar M, the driver, and told him to behave properly with women pasengers. However, the victim hired another cab and continued her journey, they claimed.
The police said regular driver Ravikumar had made the way for Naveen Rajput about three months ago, but the management was unaware of it. It neither had any knowledge about Rajput’s antecedent. “Hence, we may act against the management as well.” The management is yet to furnish pick-up point and destination point, GPS details and the place where the driver changed the route, added the police.
