MobiKwik ties up with Bangalore One

Mobile wallet MobiKwik has joined hands with Bangalore One to enable digital payment solutions for the payment of government taxes, and utility bills.

The company has earmarked a sum of Rs 500 crore for its expansion in the next 12 months.

“Our focus is to expand the merchant and user bases. We have already added four offices post demonetisation, we intend to set up more across the country during the year. Offices in Chennai and Hyderabad are due for launch soon,” said MobiKwik Chief Business Officer Vineet Singh said.

Alongside the setting up of its offices across the country, the company plans to expand its team from the current 290 people to 1,000 by the end of this financial year.
