Curfew imposed following the clashes over a disputed religious place

Around 11 people were injured in a stone pelting that took place between two communities over a disputed religious place in Kalikamata-Khatwar locality of Rajasthan's Banswara district. An indefinite curfew has been imposed.

Following the stone pelting and lathicharge, a curfew has been imposed in the entire Banswara district till the situation is under control.   At least 11 persons, including five cops, got injured in stone pelting, lathi-charge and bursting of tear gas shell, police said. Banswara SP  Kaluram Rawat told media, "A clash took place between two groups on Thursday night. Police has cordoned off the entire area. The situation is tense here, we were fearing that more clashes will take place hence we imposed curfew in entire district of Banswara. "

According to the police clashes broke after some people lit the incense stick at  a disputed religious place where prayer is being held following a mutual understanding between two communities.
