Aided by Nihal F Shilar’s 99 and handy knocks from Nidhuvan N Gotadke (66) and Apratim K Prajapati (67), Chintamani posted 300 all out in 89.5 overs.
Adhoksh shone with the ball for Vijaya as he returned figures of four for 85.
In their first hit, Vijaya were routed for 133 all out in 60 overs thanks to Sachin, who bagged seven for 32.
Following on, Vijaya escaped by the skin of their teeth as the match ended in a draw with the scoreboard reading 75 for eight. Ankit (5/19) was the chief destroyer but his effort wasn’t enough for Chintamani to pull off a victory.
