Alternative routes for Balija meet today

Owing to the Balija Mahasabha convention on Sunday at the Krishna Vihar Palace Grounds, Bengaluru traffic police have issued an advisory anticipating traffic congestion around the venue. Road users can use the following alternative routes:

* Vehicles coming for the event from Mysuru Road should go to Nayandahalli via Dr Rajkumar Samadhi, then onto Tumakuru Road towards BEL and then to Outer Ring Road, Hebbal flyover, Ballari Road, Mehkri Circle Service Road, Jayamahal Road and to Palace Grounds.

n Vehicles coming from Kanakapura Road should come from Banashankari Temple bus stand to 4th Main Jayanagar, South End Circle, Lalbagh West Gate, Minerva Circle, JC Road, Town Hall, Mysore Bank Circle, Palace Road, Basaveshwara Circle, Old High Grounds police station junction, Cantonment underpass, Jayamahal Road and finally to Krishna Vihar Palace Grounds.

* Vehicles coming from Ballari Road should proceed towards Devanahalli, Chikkajala, Hunasemaranahalli, Kogilu Junction, Kodigehalli Gate, Hebbal flyover, Ballari Road, Mehkri Circle Service Road, Jayamahal Road and then to Krishna Vihar Palace Grounds.

n Vehicles coming from Doddaballapur Road should move towards Major Unnikrishnan Road junction, Yelahanka police station junction, Yelahanka bypass junction, Ballari Road, Hebbal flyover, Mehkri Circle Service Road, Jayamahal Road towards Krishna Vihar Palace Grounds.

n Vehicles from Tumkur Road should take a turn at Goraguntepalya junction, left turn at BEL on to the Outer Ring Road. The vehicles can ply on Hebbal flyover towards Ballari Road, Mehkri Circle Service Road, Jayamahal Road and onto the venue.

n Vehicles from Bannerghatta Road should ply on Dairy circle, take right turn onto Dr Mari Gowda Road, move towards KH Circle, Lalbagh Main Gate, take a right turn at Minerva Circle onto JC Road, Town Hall, take a left turn at Police Corner, KG Road, take a right turn at Mysore Bank Circle onto Palace Road, Basaveswara Circle, old High Grounds police station junction, Avinash Petrol Bunk, Chandrika Junction, Udaya TV junction, Cantonment underpass, Jayamahal Road and to Mango Mandi and reach the venue.

n Vehicles from Hosur Road should move towards the Silk Board junction, take a left turn at Madiwala Check Post, Dairy Circle, take a right turn at Dr Mari Gowda Road, move on to KH Circle, Lalbagh Main Gate, take a right turn at Minerva Circle onto JC Road, Town Hall, take a left turn at Police Corner, KG Road, take a right turn at Mysore Bank Circle, Palace Road, Basaveswara Circle, old High Grounds police station junction, Avinash Petrol Bunk, Chandrika Junction, Udaya TV junction, Cantonment underpass, Jayamahal Road and to Mango Mandi and reach the venue.

n Vehicles from Old Madras Road should ply on KR Puram hanging bridge towards Hennur junction, Nagavara junction, Hebbal flyover, Ballari Road, Mehkri Circle Service Road, Jayamahal Road and to the venue.

n Vehicles can be parked on Circus Ground and Mango Mandi Ground after entering via Jayamahal Road.
n Cars and two-wheelers can enter through Amanulla Khan Gate on Jayamahal Road and vehicles can be parked on Krishna Vihar Grounds.

n VVIP and VIP vehicles can enter through Gate 1 of Krishna Vihara and they can be parked on Krishna Vihar grounds via Ramana Maharshi Road.

n Vehicular parking is restricted on Ramana Maharshi Road, Sri C V Raman Road, Ballari Road, Jayamahal Road, M V Jayaram Road and Palace Road.
