JD(S) vehicles to play BSY talk on 'corruption by BJP leaders'

Last Updated 29 May 2017, 19:45 IST
State JD(S) president H D Kumaraswamy said on Monday that 100 vehicles with video screening facility would be provided to North Karnataka region, one each for every Assembly segment, to play the videos of former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa’s speech levelling corruption and other charges against BJP leaders, when he was with KJP.

Speaking at a party meeting here, he recalled that Yeddyurappa had charged that BJP leaders Jagadish Shettar and Basavaraj Bommai were corrupt, while D V Sadananda Gowda had stated that corruption grew because of Yeddyurappa. When Yeddyurappa was with KJP, he spoke about the need for regional parties, saying that national parties neglected the state, especially in irrigation sector. Now, how can he ask the people to support BJP to fulfil its mission to win 150 seats in next Assembly elections, Kumaraswamy asked.

Yeddyurappa has no morality to speak about farmers’ loan waiver, as he opposed loan waiver during JD(S)-BJP coalition government and BJP government, Kumaraswamy said.
