JOIN USCongress leader Anil Shastri on Thursday said the wind is blowing in favour of the Congress in Karnataka and nobody can stop the party from coming back to power in the 2018 Assembly elections.
The party has made certain changes in the state unit keeping the elections in view. Some leaders have been given additional responsibilities. People of the state are happy with the performance of the party government and hence, they have decided to vote the party back to power in the next elections, he told reporters.
The Union government is trying to mislead people by making them believe that the country has developed, but the reality is different. The Modi government has failed on all fronts. It has neglected the farmers and the poor. The Centre had claimed that demonetisation will block terror funding. But terror attacks have increased in the last few months, he added.
He also released a booklet that listed out “failures” of the Centre in the last three years.
