HC stays temple construction inside park

The High Court of Karnataka on Friday stayed the construction of a temple inside a park in Jeevan Bima Nagar.
A division bench comprising Chief Justice S K Mukherjee and Justice P S Dinesh Kumar ordered notice to BBMP in a petition filed by residents of HAL III Stage.

Petitioners, N Krishna Kumar and others, have contended that an Om Shakti temple was being constructed inside the park in violation of the rules, causing inconvenience to members of the public.
