Charges framed against Sasikala's nephew Sudhakaran

A local court here for economic offences on Tuesday framed charges against V N Sudhakaran, nephew of AIADMK Amma group general secretary V K Sasikala with regard to a case registered by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
 
Sudhakaran, who was lodged in Bengaluru prison along with Sasikala and J Elavarasi following his conviction in DA case, came here with transit warrant.
 
Police produced Sudhakaran before the court amid tight security.
 
Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court's Magistrate S Malarmathy framed the charges against Sudhakaran in a case related to the imports made in the name of Super Duper TV and hawala transactions made by Sudhakaran and Bhaskaran during 1995-1996.
 
However, Sudhakaran rejected the charges against him. Sudhakaran's brother V Bhaskaran was also present in the court.
