JOIN USA bank employee and two others were killed in two separate road accidents in the city on Friday.
Two youths were killed after their bike hit the median strip on the railway overbridge near KC General Hospital in Malleswaram in the early hours of Friday.
The victims Venkat and Chandan, both aged 21 years, were residents of Rajajinagar and Laggere, respectively.
Both were working at a two-wheeler showroom in Hebbal. “They were on their way home on a new bike around 12.45 am, when the accident occurred. Venkat, who was speeding, lost balance and hit the median strip. He was killed on the spot, while Chandan died on the way to the KC General Hospital. It is not known whether they were drunk,” police said.
In the other accident, a truck ran over Kavyashree (31), a resident of New Town in Hebbagodi, and an Axis Bank employee, around noon near Veerasandra Junction in Electronics City. The police arrested the truck driver and seized the truck.
