Natalie Sciver and Heather Knight plundered centuries as England got their ICC Women’s World Cup campaign back on track with a rousing 107-win over Pakistan in a rain-curtailed match here on Tuesday.

Sciver hammered a 92-ball 137 while Knight scored a 109-ball 106 as England posted a mammoth 377/7 in 50 overs -- the second-highest team total in World Cup history --  at Grace Road. Both Sciver and Knight scored their maiden centuries.

England then reduced Pakistan to 107/3 in 29.2 overs when rain arrived. Play was officially called off at 6:02 pm local time and Pakistan, according to the Duckworth-Lewis method, were deemed to be 107 runs short of the par score.

Sciver shared a 213-run stand in just 30 overs with Knight -- England’s joint best third-wicket stand. Together they slammed 25 fours and three sixes. Danielle Wyatt (42 not out in 27) and Fran Wilson (33 in 19) also hit some hefty shots down the order as England’s outmuscled Pakistan.

Brief scores: England: 377/7 in 50 overs (Heather Knight 106, Natalie Sciver 137, Danielle Wyatt 42 n.o., Fran Wilson 33; Asmavia Iqbal 3-62, Kainat Imtiaz 2-68) bt Pakistan (target 215): 107/3 in 29.2 overs (Ayesha Zafar 56 n.o.; Katherine Brunt  2-21).
