<p>The CBI on Tuesday demanded life sentence for underworld don Dawood Ibrahim who had been convicted by a special TADA court in the 12 March, 1993 serial blasts case, on charges of giving AK-56 assault rifle to Sanjay Dutt and being part of the conspiracy.<br /><br />CBI's counsel Deepak Salvi demanded life sentence for Salem, who is lodged in the Taloja jail in Raigad district.</p>
