WeWork unveils workspace in Bengaluru

New York-based collaborative workspace WeWork has marked its entry into India, with the launch of its workspace in Bengaluru.

Bengaluru’s WeWork Galaxy is the first of the three workspaces that the company has planned for Bengaluru, this year. With a total capacity of 2,200 seats, the venue boasts of 70% booked occupancy already.

WeWork (India) Director Karan Virwani said, “The main differentiator for WeWork is its global footprint. Members will have access to over 191 centres across the globe,” adding, “More than a workspace, WeWork acts as a physical and virtual platform for collaboration.” WeWork has a global footprint of 191 centres spread across 49 cities in 17 different countries.


The company plans to set up two workspaces in Mumbai and one in Gurugram soon. With a diverse community in Bengaluru, including large corporations, small businesses, startups and NGOs, WeWork believes that it is about building the right culture.
