Vyshak claims five-wicket haul on final day as Manohar's side pip Mofussil XI

Bangalore Zone emerged champions of the KSCA (under-23) SA Srinivasan memorial tournament by virtue of the first innings lead against Mofussil XI in the final here on Monday.
On the second day here at RSI ground, Mofussil resuming at 155/4, could only manage to add 45 runs more, before being bundled out for 200 in 54 overs.
Darshan Patil top-scored for Mofussil with 68 runs. Nikin Jose SJ and MS Bhandage also helped with 43 and 39 runs respectively.
Vyshak Vijaykumar, with figures of 5/46, was the pick of the bowlers for Bangalore while Rajat Hegde (3/53) and Shreyas BM (2/57) also made valuable contributions. Bangalore then rode on Hegde’s unbeaten 52, which was backed well by Abhinav Manohar’s 37, Nitesh Sedai’s 27 and Mashooq Hussain’s 25, to declare on 215/9 in 64 overs before the match ended in a draw.
