Chinese iVOOMi to sell on Flipkart

Chinese smartphone maker iVOOMi on Tuesday announced a partnership with Flipkart to enhance its strategy for the Indian market. The smartphone will facilitate its R&D in Hong Kong and China, with timely support on detailed analytics of smartphone usage in the most diversified and highly fragmented Tier-II, -III and -IV cities in India.

The objective is to build a niche and targeted product development process, to scale up bottomline results. Ashwin Bhandari, CEO, iVOOMi India said, “Our focus is to ensure the development of latest technology in the most cost-effective range, as desired by users in this geography. Also, this is a step forward to bolt up with the master in ecommerce zone, with a much larger audience at disposal.”
