Governor Vajubhai Vala is likely to meet Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh in New Delhi on Wednesday and apprise him of the law and order situation in the state.
According to an official source, Vala’s report will cover the overall law and order situation in the state and focus on the recent developments in Dakshina Kannada.
Dakshina Kannada has been on the boil for several days and the unrest escalated after RSS activist Sharath Madiwala, who was stabbed by unidentified assailants, succumbed to his injuries last week in Bantwal.
