JOIN US Rakshith B and Spoorthy MV clinched a grand double at the Karnataka State-ranking table tennis tournament that concluded here on Friday.
In the men’s title clash, Rakshith rallied to beat Anirban Tarafdar 11-2, 3-11, 11-4, 10-12, 6-11, 11-7, 11-8 and then claimed the double beating Rohan Jamadagni 11-8, 12-10, 11-6, 11-5 in the youth boys’ final.
Spoorthy clinched both crowns after beating Samyuktha A 7-11, 11-5, 11-9, 6-11, 11-5, 11-8 and 6-11, 11-6, 11-9, 11-7, 10-12, 13-11 in the women’s and youth girls’ final respectively.
