Man stabbed to death after petty quarrel

A 24-year-old man was stabbed to death outside his residence at Kamalanagar, Basaveshwaranagar on Sunday night after a quarrel over a petty issue.  

The deceased is Madan Kumar, who works for a finance company. The incident took place at around 7.30 pm, when Madan and his cousins were returning home from their relative’s house.  

According to police, Madan’s car hit a two-wheeler in front of his house while parking, following which a heated argument ensued between him and those riding the bike. One of the bikers stabbed him with a knife. The bikers then fled the spot. Madan’s cousins rushed him to KC General Hospital, where he was declared dead. Basaveshwara Nagar police have registered a case and are investigating.
