Excise officials 'mob, manhandle' actor on SIT office premises

Actress Charmee Kaur was mobbed and manhandled by excise constables while she was entering the Special investigation Team (SIT) office in Nampally on Wednesday for questioning. Charmee who finishes shooting for a movie in Kondapur on Wednesday morning reached the SIT office under the protection of her bouncers.

While the excise personnel who stopped her bouncers outside the office, have created ruckus to get close to Charmee. In the melee Srinivas, an excise constable put his hand on her back in the pretext of taking her to the lift. It is said that Charmee complained to the Excise officers about the over action of the particular constable even as several women constables were present at the scene. The police are investigating the incident.

Meanwhile, the SIT  probing the drug racket case completed questioning her. As per the directions of the Hyderabad High Court questioning Charmee was completed exactly by 5pm that too by four all women officer team consisting of Assistant Excise Superintendent, and three Circle Inspectors.  The SIT also restrained itself from collecting samples of blood or hair from the actress strictly adhering to the directions of the Apex court. The court on Tuesday responding to a petition filed by the actress passed certain guidelines to the SIT.

The SIT team also arrested a Dutch National Mike Kamminga in connection with the ongoing investigation. The 33 year old has visited India 4 times. He was found in possession of Psychotropic Substances. The SIT will be questioning actress Ms Mumaith Khan on Thursday.
