Jayraj and Harshith Raj stole the limelight as Sir Syed Cricketers posted a massive 255-run victory over Century Cricketers in the KSCA Group I, Division I, II, III inter-club under-19 tournament here.
Batting first, Sir Syed amassed 326 for nine in their 50 overs as Harshith top-scored with 114. Sudhanwa K (62) and Rohitih Jain (52) chipped in with handy knocks, while Naresh’s (6/56) superb bowling effort eventually went in vain.
Chasing 327, Century Cricketers wilted under pressure and ended their innings on 71 all out in 21.2 overs.
Jayraj starred with the ball as he returned figures of five for seven and was ably backed by Yashas (3/18).
