Man held for nephew's murder

A 28-year-old man from Assam was arrested on Thursday night for murdering his nephew who worked at Imperial Hotel.

Mithudas, the maternal uncle of Saurabh, is suspected to have smashed the latter’s head with a wooden club on June 20 over a financial dispute, the jurisdictional Byatarayanapura police said.

Mithudas and Saurabh worked in the same restaurant and were put up in Haleguddadahalli, Mysuru Road, along with other employees. Mithudas had fled to Assam after the murder and came back only after a month.
