Woman files 'unnatural sex' complaint against husband

A 24-year-old woman has filed a police complaint against her husband, saying he blackmailed her into having anal sex with him and threatened to post her nude videos on the internet.

The woman had married Shreyas, a resident of Chamarajpet, at Kathriguppe on April 17, 2016. They spent their first night in a hotel in Yelahanka. But the occasion turned a nightmare for her. It all started with Shreyas getting drunk and forcing her to consume alcohol. He also forced her into having unnatural sex with him.

In the later parts of their married life, the woman said, Shreyas would often show her pornographic videos on the mobile phone and the laptop, demanding that she emulate the performance of female adult actors. If she refused to pay heed, he would threaten to film her in the nude and post the video online.

In the complaint that she filed at the women’s police station in Basavanagudi, she also accused her husband of being impotent and that neither he nor his family disclosed the condition before the marriage. She also claimed that her in-laws demanded dowry at a later stage and harassed her.

According to the complainant, when she threatened to go to police, her in-laws promised to get Shreyas treated in six months. But on June 28, they sent her out of their home. She then decided to go to police. Police have registered a case under the Dowry Prohibition Act and under sections 506, 34 and 498(A) of the IPC.
