NGMA to showcase works of Korean artist

 The National Gallery of Modern Art (NGMA) and Korean Cultural Centre, New Delhi have come together to bring the works of South Korean artist Kim-Ho Suk to Bengaluru.

The Seoul-based artist likes to bring out the things he sees in society on his canvas. The exhibition will explore various themes of Ho Suk’s artworks which are a reflection of Korean society in the past and present. Ink is the medium Ho Suk uses in his creations.

The subjects of his ink illustrations are his family, political and religious figures, common people, flora and fauna which are native to Korea. 

The exhibition, which will showcase over seventy works of Ho Suk, will be inaugurated by Chargé d' Affaires, Embassy of Republic of Korea, Lee Hai Kwang and director, Korean Cultural Centre, Delhi Kim Kum Pyoung, will be the chief guest.

The exhibition will be inaugurated on Tuesday at 6 pm.
