JOIN USA man harassed his five-year-old son over his bed-wetting habit. The officials concerned have rescued the boy.
The man from HD Kote taluk used to put rubber band to the kid's private part at night to prevent him from wetting the bed. Due to this, the kid suffered severe health issues. During counselling, the boy revealed his plight.
Malini, counsellor at the women’s special care unit in KR Hospital, during the review meeting chaired by Women's Commission chairperson Nagalakshmi Bai at the Deputy Commissioner’s office here on Wednesday, said the child, who had lost his mother, was being harassed by his father.
According to the counsellor, the man has two children — a daughter and the son. The man suspected his wife’s fidelity and was thus harassing his son, said the counsellor.
Earlier, the boy was lodged at a rehabilitation centre, but the man took the five-year-old away, promising to take care of him. But again, he started harassing the boy. Now, the child is back at the rehabilitation centre, said Deputy Director for Women and Child Welfare K Radha.
