Black peppercorns, scientifically called piper nigrum, with their distinctive taste and aroma, were described by ancient Syriac medical texts, dating back to 5th century, as a natural ‘cure-all’ spice.

A mixture of black pepper powder and salt removes plaque formed on the teeth. The presence of significant levels of minerals like calcium in black pepper strengthens the teeth.
