Thieves made away with around Rs 18 lakh in cash, after breaking open an ATM of State Bank of India at Deshpande Nagar in the early hours of Saturday.
The thieves are said to have used a gas cutter to lay their hands on the cash. Police said there was no security guard at the kiosk. The suburban police have registered a case.
