A scintillating event

The city recently saw a grand college fest organised by Presidency College.

The two-day fest themed ‘Kalopsia - Beyond Beautiful’ had a potpourri of events with participation
of over 50 colleges of the city.

‘Kalopsia’ is an amalgamation of the two annual events of the college - ‘Colossus’ and ‘Zephyr’.

Day one of the fest was organised in the college premises where renowned RJ and the lead actor of
the upcoming Kannada movie, ‘Humble Politiciann Nograj’, Danish Sait took the stage and entertained the crowd with this wit and humour.

With an aim to help students showcase their talent ‘Kalopsia’ organised events like ‘mad ads’,
‘group dance’, ‘battle of bands’ and ‘war of DJs’.

The panel of judges included popular personalities like RJ Sayantan Banerjee, Savitha, an award-winning singer, DJ Stallion and Parag Goswami, a stylist.

The first day saw around 400 participants from various colleges and the qualified teams of on-stage events gathered to perform for the finals on day two of the fest at ‘Manpho Convention Centre’, near Manyata Tech Park.

An exciting day awaited all the finalists on the second day. The talk of the day was not just the events but the special evening that everyone present at the fest eagerly waited for - a concert featuring singer Armaan Malik.

Around 12,000 students from all over the city gathered to be part of the spectacular concert by the talented Armaan Malik.

His enchanting voice transported the audience to a dreamy realm.

With colleges like Mount Carmel College, Christ College, MLA College, St Anne’s College, MS Ramaiah College participating, there was an air of excitement and enthralling energy throughout the fest. It was an unforgettable event.
