Bharatiya Janata Party state president B S Yeddyurappa has said that he will release documents “exposing” the “corruption” in Siddaramaiah’s government, in the next three days.

“I am in possession of some documents and collecting some more. I will make them public after getting them translated,” Yeddyurappa said. He was speaking to reporters on his arrival at Sambra airport in Belagavi on Friday. He alleged that some documents exposing large-scale irregularities in the government were missing.

The former chief minister said that he would not contest the upcoming Assembly election from his hometown, Shikaripura in Shivamogga district. He said he was exploring the possibilities of entering the fray from Assembly constituencies in Vijayapura or Bagalkot district. “ The Assembly segment is not yet finalised. I will obey the orders of the central leaders.”

He claimed that it was his government which completed the construction of Suvarna Vidhana Soudha, but the present dispensation was not making any use of the building. The state government has not responded to the suggestion for shifting key departments to the Suvarna Vidhana Soudha, he said.

Speaking to media persons in Hukkeri, Yeddyurappa claimed that the government conspired in filing two FIRs against him in Shivaram Karant layout denotification. The High Court of Karnataka on Friday stayed further proceedings in the cases.
