The killer Blue Whale game claimed yet another victim in Uttar Pradesh when a 13-year old child committed suicide in state's Shamli district, about 500 kilometres from here.

A student of the 7th standard at a private school, Nishant Kumar allegedly jumped before a speeding train on Friday evening, police sources here said.

Nishant's body was found lying on the railway tracks by a shepherd, who informed the local police.

The victim, whose house was situated close to the railway tracks, had left his home without telling anyone in the evening, sources said.

Nishant's friends said that he had been playing the deadly game for the past few days and had told them that he was about to complete the same.

''It was revealed that two other friends of Nishant had also been playing the game....Nishant had raced ahead of them,'' said a police official in Shamli.

He said that an investigation had been launched into the incident.

Barely a few days back, the local cops had held meetings with the management of different schools in the district and had asked the teachers to prevent the children from playing the deadly game.

So far at least four children have fallen victim of the online game in the state. A 3-year old child, a resident of the state capital, had committed suicide at his home a few days back. Before him, a 12-year old child had killed himself in state's Hamirpur district.

Though the government has directed the social networking sites to remove all links to the killer online game, it continued to claims lives of the children.
