Praises for the mentor

Bollywood actor Aahana Kumra, who gained acclaim with her role in the movie ‘Lipstick Under My Burkha (LUMB)’, is all praises for Naseeruddin Shah as the veteran has not just been her mentor but had also played a huge role in her career.

Interestingly, Aahana started her acting journey in theatre under Shah’s guidance and both are currently sharing the stage together in the play ‘The Father’ which recently also got a houseful response.

Earlier, Kumra worked with the actor in his group Motley.

“Naseeruddin Sir has a huge role to play in my career, he is that mentor who I go to whenever I am in doubt. I have shared screen space with him in my first Indie film but I would love to share space with him again. He is a phenomenal actor with so much of zeal towards cinema that every time when I am around him I have so much to learn,” says Aahana, talking about her bonding with Shah. She adds, “Sharing big screen space with Naseer Sir again will be like a dream come true.”
