A 35-year old security guard was arrested on charges molesting a journalist who had gone to interview former Union minister and MP Shashi Tharoor on September 27.
Whitefield police arrested Velayudhan, a resident of Mahadevapura, and working as a security guard at a hotel in Whitefield. The police looking for two more suspects in the case.
The police said the victim, in her complaint, stated that when she had come to interview Tharoor on September 27, three security guards stopped her at the hotel gate and despite informing them that she had an appointment, the three guards misbehaved with her and manhandled her."
