MRPL Kaushal Vikas Kendra training ends

The valedictory of the rope-in programme of the phase-1 of the second batch of MRPL Kaushal Vikas Kendra was held at Mangaluru Refineries Petroleum Limited (MRPL) employees club on Saturday.

The Rope-in programme of the phase-1 of MRPL KVK second batch of students started on October 3 and concluded on October 14. The remaining three and half month training will be held at NTTF, Bengaluru.

MRPL MD H Kumar complimented the trainees on being a part of MRPL KVK. He urged them to succeed by sharing a list of options before them.

The trainees showcased their talents and shared their experience of the rope-in programme during the ceremony. A total of 22 youth are being trained in the Phase-1 of the second batch by NTTF. The courses being conducted are “CNC operator - Vertical Machining Centre” and “Through Hole assembly operator”.

The trainees had undergone four months training in two trades: Industrial Electrician and CNC Operator-Turning. The candidates have been selected from the neighbouring areas and villages around MRPL.

All expenses including food, lodging, tutorial expenses, uniform etc, are borne by MRPL Kaushal Vikas Kendra.
