Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to participate in a spiritual event scheduled to be held at Palace Grounds in Bengaluru on October 29.
The event — Mahasamarpane — will be organised by Mysuru-based Vedanta Bharati. “We have received confirmation from the Prime Minister’s Office. An official schedule is awaited,” Vedanta Bharati director Shridhar Bhat Ainkai said.
The event involves mass chanting of Sri Shankaracharya’s Soundaryalahari and Dakshinamurthy hymns. The same day, Modi is expected to visit Dharmasthala for another event.
BJP sources here said they were aware of Modi’s visit to the state, but they do not have any official communication in this regard.
