Modi addresses BJP workers in Bengaluru

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on a day's visit to Karnataka, arrived in capital Bengaluru at around 2 pm on Sunday.

He was received at the HAL Airport by Governor Vajubhai Vala and Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.

Immediately after landing, Modi addressed BJP workers.

Earlier in the day, the prime minister visited the temple town of Dharmasthala.

Modi had 'darshan' of Lord Manjunatha and proceeded towards Rathnaverma Heggade stadium, where he addressed a rally.

The prime minister distributed Rupay cards to the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana account holders facilitated by Shri Kshethra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project and launched digitised cashless self-help group transaction.
