Apart from Delhi, Mumbai, which is  in the 93rd position with 3.80 points, is the only other Indian city that found a place in the total 100 cities selected for the survey worldwide.

The ranking was based on cities adopting latest urban amenities like smart parking, clean energy, urban planning business ecosystem, internet speed.

Other factors like 4G, smartphone penetration, traffic sensors and car sharing apps, online access to governmental services and a high level of citizen participation in the governance were also taken into account.

Copenhagen  is ranked at the top for scoring and has scored high marks in  areas like a thriving business ecosystem, high proliferation of smart parking and forward-thinking urban development, said  the statement.
