Rozario takes over Ozone academy

Bengaluru side Ozone FC on Thursday announced the former assistant coach of the Indian national team Stanly Rozario as the Director/ Head Coach of their academy.

Rozario, an AFC Professional Coaching License holder, has coached teams like East Bengal, Mohun Bagan, Salgocar FC, Shillong Lajong, United Sikkim, Bharat FC, Army XI and Services apart from his role with the national team.

However, at Ozone, he will be stepping into a new role of managing and developing young talents at the academy. "I am excited of this new challenge," he said about the new role. "My vision is to identify the best talent and nurture the players at grass root and youth level to make them the players of tomorrow, players that will represent India one day."

A former MEG, Services and Karnataka midfielder, Rozario has his hands full with the Ozone age-group teams competing in the I-League U-13, U-15 and U-18 competitions.
