Seminar on animation at St Aloysius College

The Department of Computer Science, Application and Animation of St Aloysius College will organise 'Sparkle 2017', a national-level animation seminar on December 9 in the Eric Mathias Hall, stated a press release.

The seminar seeks to highlight the importance and rapid growth of the industry and advance the technological skills of students in this field.

The programme will be inaugurated by MAFFEI Block Vice Principal Dr Melwyn S Pinto at 9 am.

Sessions on 'Use of Illustration in Media', 'Animation Production Process- from Script to Screen' and 'A Talk on the making of the Jungle Book' will be held on the occasion. Professionals in the field Nithin Rao Kumblekar, Kishore Boloor and Vivek Bolar will be the speakers.

The seminar will also allow students to showcase their talent in the field through various competitions such as video ad making, poster designing and pencil sketching.
