Three killed as tourist bus dives into river

A tourist bus bound for Talaseri in Kannur, Kerala, from Bengaluru lost control and dived into the river near Peringathur.  

Three people including a woman and child have been killed in the mishap, said the police.  

Police said that when the driver lost control of the vehicle, it rammed against the bridge wall and fell into the river. A kid who jumped off the vehicle survived immediately survived.    

The deceased have been identified as Premalatha of Kannur's Chokli and her son Prejit and the bus cleaner.
