Applications invited for teachers' award

Applications have been invited for A Shama Rao Memorial outstanding teacher award 2018, stated a press release.

Two awards will be conferred on teachers, one from undivided Dakshina Kannada district and another from rest of Karnataka state, for outstanding service in promoting education in High School and PU College levels. The award carries a cash prize of Rs 10,000, a memento and a citation. The award will be presented during the Founder's Day celebration on February 14.
