CS tells officials to hold 'Jana Spandana' every Tuesday

Chief secretary Ratna Prabha has directed all officials to conduct 'Jana Spandana' every Tuesday between 3 pm and 5 pm mandatorily, to address public grievances.

Speaking to reporters here, Prabha said that the decision had been taken, following directions from Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.

She said officials had been given strict instructions not to miss even a single weekly public meeting.

From PDOs in gram panchayats to the chief secretary, all officials at the district and taluk level will hold these meetings and resolve grievances aired by the people.

Prabha, on the day she took charge as chief secretary, had announced that she would put in place a public grievance system to resolve people's problems.
