Commotion prevailed after a group of 20 to 25 people damaged window panes of a house, another building and vehicles at Kotepura in Ullal on Sunday late night. The incident came to light much later.
The gang allegedly damaged window panes of Sultan Sports and Cultural Club's building at Kotepura. The gang also damaged the windscreen of a fish lorry parked on the road and a two-wheeler apart from pelting stones on the roof of a house belonging to Farooq and damaging the sign board of a bus stand.
The youth are said to be residents of Kodi. A complaint against Azeem, Arshad, Thousif, Anees, Chappa, Rizwan, Nizam, Naushad, Naufal, Thousif, Badru, Ashfaq and Imran has been filed in Ullal Police Station.
Locals alleged that the gang was under the influence of drugs.
