Senior professor of Gulbarga varsity blacklisted

The Syndicate of the University of Mysore, at a meeting here on Friday, imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 on a senior professor of the Gulbarga University and has also blacklisted him for copying the questions from the old question papers for setting a question paper for PhD entrance exam.

The students, who had appeared for the entrance exam, had complained that the several questions in the question paper were lifted from the old question papers found on the university website. Thus, the UoM had initiated a probe into the issue.
