Woman refuses photo shoot after hubby praises Mumtaz Mahal at Taj

That Mumtaz Mahal, the empress consort of the Mughal king Shahjahan, was extremely beautiful is known to  all and the Taj Mahal stands witness to her allure.

It might, however, be dangerous to say so to your wife.

Heaping praise on Mumtaz Mahal while taking a walk at the Monument of Love by a man irked his wife so much that she refused to get herself photographed with him.

The hubby got angry with the wife's refusal and allegedly slapped her, triggering a heated exchange between them.

The incident occurred on the premises of the Taj on Monday, when a couple from the nearby town of Aligarh was visiting the monument in Agra.

According to reports, the hubby, while taking a walk there, started heaping praise on Mumtaz Mahal's beauty, not realising that it could hurt his wife.

Another woman tourist, a constable, scolded the man and asked him to apologise, reports said. She also reported the matter to the CISF personnel there.

Calm after storm

The other family members, who accompanied the couple, intervened and prevented the matter from taking an ugly turn.

The hubby said that he was only joking and later sought his wife's forgiveness. After the apology, the wife happily posed for photographs with him, reports said.
