Former city police commissioner Raghavendra Auradkar is among four police officers booked by the Anti Corruption Bureau for not following a court's orders on giving police protection to a person.
Besides Auradkar, the then DCP Suresh Kumar, ACP Kanaka Kumar and the then police inspector Ashok have been named in the FIR.
Hanumanthaiah, of Havanur Layout, had filed a complaint about a civil dispute and the court had directed the then police commissioner Auradkar to provide him police security, but the police did not comply with the orders.
