Police shoot rowdy in the leg

The police shot a rowdy in the leg at Kesaratagi Garden in the outskirts of Kalaburagi city on Wednesday.  

Kadabur Malya alias Mallikarjuna is the history-sheeter whom the police shot at. Three policemen were also injured in the incident.    

Police said Kadbur Malya was involved in various crimes earlier when he was in cahoots with another rowdy Kari Chirathe alias Mallikarjuna.

Kari Chirathe alias Mallikarjuna was killed in an encounter recently.  

Kadbur Malya alias Mallikarjuna was the prime accused in the kidnapping and attempt to murder of a person named Lakshmikanth recently, police added.
