With Assembly polls months away, the BJP top leadership has asked Opposition leader in the Legislative Council K S Eshwarappa to actively take part in the electioneering.
The party has also instructed Mysore-Kodagu MP Pratap Simha not to make controversial statements.
A senior BJP leader told DH that the issues raised by Eshwarappa have been addressed. The party's instruction comes in the wake of reports that Eshwarappa is still sulking.
The party has told Pratap Simha to strengthen Yuva Morcha.
