Chabad House a unique blend of love and hatred: Netanyahu

With Moshe and his nanny Sandra Samuel by his side, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday formally unveiled the plans for a Living Memorial at the Nariman House in Colaba, one of the places under seize during the 26/11 terror strikes.

"The Chabad House is a unique merge between showing love and hatred towards the people of Israel," Netanhayu said in Hebrew.

"This place is a unique merge between loving Israeli people, humans and hatred towards people of Israel. The nation of Israel is known for salvation.

"Your parents have shown to love to the people and welcomed all to this house. They provided for every Jew a home. This is loving Israel but terrorists showed hatred towards Israel in the past, Jewish people have witnessed a lot of challenges but with the help of God they overcame everything. People of Israel are living and will live forever," he told Moshe.

Eleven-year-old Moshe Holtzberg, who lost his parents Rabbi Gavriel Holtzberg and Rivka during the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks, was also accompanied by his paternal grandparents Nachman and Frieda Holtzberg, maternal grandparents Shimon and Yehudit Rosenberg and uncle Moshe Holtzberg among others.

The prime minister was seen constantly speaking to Moshe at the gathering which had emotions, smiles and resolves.

Netanyahu was welcomed by Rabbi Israel and Chaya Kozlovsky, co-directors of Chabad-Lubavitch of Mumbai.

In addition to unveiling the plans for a Living Memorial, the Netanyahu also unveiled a plaque in memory of Moshe's parents. Moshe's two grandmothers lit an "eternal flame" in remembrance of the victims.

Thereafter, the group was joined by more than 60 dignitaries from India, Israel and abroad, as Kozlovsky outlined the vision for a Living Memorial.

Netanyahu also visited the Holtzbergs' still bullet-ridden residence.
