Burglars broke into Uttaradi Mutt at Malkhed in Sedam taluk of the district on Thursday night and decamped with 30 kg silver ornaments and utensils, hundi cash and puja materials.
The burglars have broke open all locks, including the one on hundi.

The mutt was burgled three years back too. The police are yet to make a breakthrough into the burglary.
Meanwhile, Venkannachar Swami of the mutt has launched a hunger strike, demanding the police to take the burglaries reported at the mutt seriously and crack the cases by arresting the culprits.
